Procurement Specialist Job Description:
- Conduct procurement transactions for a variety of goods and services, adhering to State Purchasing Bureau regulations.
- Review purchase requests, analyze supplier performance, and recommend optimal offers.
- Determine procurement methods based on cost, urgency, and availability factors.
- Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate quotes, RFQs, RFIs, ITBs, and RFPs.
- Manage post-award follow-up and ensure compliance with procurement regulations.
- Foster effective work relationships and handle multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, with procurement experience.
